This very original sundowner is in great shape for an original machine.
The paint is original and cared for. The white paint shines when washed
as it has been regularly waxed, whereas the factory black paint is faded.
Airplane is hangered at CPN4.
The interior is all original equipment except,
NEW Floor Wood and Carpets 2006
NEW Front and Rear Seats and padding 2006.
The engine is original to the airframe. Over the years the
cylinders have been replaced so the valves are not as old as the case.
Note the images below showing the compression histories as noted by my mechanic
during the past number of years of inspections.
As for why I'm selling, as a 2,500 hour commercial pilot I'm just not using
it enough to justify it. My wife and I have a two year old son, so those
quick trips are just not happening. In additon, my consulting business is
not using it as in days gone by.
